The small business exemption applies only to services invoiced directly by Starpolar. It does not mean that purchases through the App Store, Google Play, or Fourthwall are free of VAT.

For app purchases and Plus subscriptions billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google handles payment and calculates, collects, and remits VAT where required under the applicable country-specific rules, including for EU customers. Depending on the country, the platform acts as seller or billing intermediary. The applicable seller and taxes are shown in the store’s purchase information and receipt.

For Fourthwall catalog products, Fourthwall is the seller and merchant of record. Fourthwall calculates, collects, and remits applicable transaction taxes. The taxes charged are shown at checkout and on the purchase receipt.

Online Shop and Fourthwall

Fourthwall catalog products offered in the Starpolar shop are sold by Fourthwall. Fourthwall is the seller and merchant of record and handles checkout, payment, taxes, production, fulfilment, shipping, order support, statutory withdrawal, returns, and refunds. Fourthwall, Inc. is located at PO Box 5696, Santa Monica, CA 90405, United States. Starpolar creates the product designs and shop presentation and directs customers to Fourthwall checkout.

As seller, Fourthwall is responsible for the consumer-facing cancellation and withdrawal process required for the merchandise contract, including any legally required online withdrawal function on the order-management or order-status interface. Starpolar does not disable, obscure, or replace that function and will forward any order complaint received in error.
